Want to fly simple, inexpensive ultralight airplanes? If so, we are ready to help you. Our ultralight flying lessons prepare you to own and operate your own ultralight airplane. (See Ultralights Explained)
Our 6 day accelerated program consists of 2 flights per day for 5 days with transition training on
the 6th day in an open ultralight ‘tailwheel’ trainer and ground school training in between the AM
and PM flights each day.
This is an exciting accelerated fully immersive training program that includes your training
materials. You will be learning in our comfortable fully enclosed 680 pound lightweight, high
wing trainer aircraft with side-by-side seating, top of the line communications and cockpit heat
powered by the very reliable Rotax 912 engine.
Your ultralight flight instructor has been teaching flying in ultralight airplanes for 18 years.
How much are ultralight flying lessons and aircraft?
We have made arrangements with the manufacturer, test flown and qualified as safe, several
leading brands of ultralight aircraft that you might purchase brand new for under $20,000.
In all of our research, we’re able to guide you through the purchase process and assist you with your first flights in your new
airplane.
The total cost for the training package is $2,590.00 paid in full at the start of your first lesson.
We highly encourage taking our introductory flight lesson, or the deluxe introductory lesson prior
to starting.
Should you later decide to obtain the Sport Pilot License you will receive full credit for the flight
time and skills acquired in the ultralight course.
Also, we highly encourage you to train with a friend or family member to take advantage of the
synergy in learning, that training with a companion provides. Maximum 3 persons per class.
